I am an HCPC-registered art psychotherapist, therapeutic arts practitioner, and sumi-e artist based in Greater Manchester.
My work moves between clinical practice, community-based creative wellbeing, and traditional Japanese ink painting. In therapy, I support children and young people through one-to-one and small-group art psychotherapy. In community settings, I develop therapeutic arts projects through The Holding Palette CIC, I develop structured, clinically informed therapeutic arts programmes that create accessible spaces for people to slow down, connect, and explore emotion, identity, and belonging before difficulties escalate.
Alongside this work, I practise sumi-e and suibokuga under Kapok House. Through ink, water, brush, and paper, I explore presence, imperfection, and the quiet strength found in change. Wabi-sabi offers me a way to understand both art and life with more gentleness.
Whether I am working as a therapist, facilitator, or artist, my focus remains the same: helping people find reflection, emotional safety, and a sense of belonging through creative practice.
